Immelt of GE announced on Friday the 24th that General Electric Co. is cutting costs, preparing for a new wave of regulation from Washington and embracing manufacturing over financial services as ways out of the economic crisis. I think we've had enough of financial engineering. Time to return to product and system engineering.
